CM Jamal Osman Gets Out & Spends Quality Time with Neighbors at National Night Out in Minneapolis!
August 2, 2023 — Minneapolis, MN — What a great night! Minneapolis City Council Member Jamal Osman was on a mission to spread good vibes and strengthen community bonds at this year's National Night Out event. From the scenic Commons Park outside US Bank Stadium to the lively conversations in Elliot Park & Phillips West neighborhoods, CM Osman was all smiles as he spent time listening to neighbors' concerns and celebrating the community spirit of Minneapolis.
The annual National Night Out event was a perfect occasion for neighbors to come together and build a sense of togetherness. CM Osman emphasized the importance of such gatherings, stating:
"National Night Out is a great neighborhood event! It brings residents from all walks of life together and we build trust and a stronger sense of community."

"When we listen and share our thoughts openly," he said, "we gain a deeper understanding of the challenges our neighbors and community are facing. Together, is how we will find the very best ways to keep our neighborhoods safe."
The fun didn't stop at Commons Park! Council Member Osman headed to the Elliot Park neighborhood, where the excitement continued.
He mingled with residents, laughing and chatting, soaking up the energy that defines Minneapolis's heart.
"This is what it's all about," Council Member Osman said. "Our community is a tapestry of voices, cultures, and dreams. Celebrating together makes us stronger."
Jamal Osman's dedication to being accessible and attentive to his constituents was evident throughout the event.
